Born in a time of worry

Following the closing of my workplace in March of 2020, I found myself with a lot of time on my hands. Between applying for jobs, I lugged my Canon C200 along the banks of the Eno River as a way to cope with the uncertainty that comes with unemployment amidst a pandemic. “Chill Nature Slow-Mo” became one of my most constructive distractions; I enjoy making it so much that I still add to the project from time to time.

Sit back and let the sounds and sights of the great outdoors transport you to a better place. Shot in 60fps, this slow TV series was developed to help you relax.

A collaboration followed.

My friend and longtime collaborator, Terrill Mast, reached out to score some of the footage I was making. What came next was a months-long collaboration between myself and his band, Murphy Mast, and our first ever visual album, ENO.
